Advisory Service and Certification Process.
In recent years under the Equal Opportunity Childcare Programme and now the National Childcare Investment Programme in association with St Nicholas Montessori Society of Ireland funding was allocated to support Montessori Preschool Providers nationwide. This support includes Montessori Education Advisors, whose roll is to visit your preschool and assist and support you in any way you wish. The Advisors are available to help support and advise you on matters of concern in relation to providing a quality Montessori Preschool Programme.
They also provide a Certification Process, which guides you in evaluating your Montessori Programme. This Certification Process helps to ensure that the children in your Preschool are provided with high quality Montessori Programme. They also provide independent quality assurance for Providers and more especially for parents who are assured of the quality Montessori programme provided in your preschool. The Montessori Education Advisor for the Co. Clare region is Mary Nestor.
